Printed circuit boards
Fluoropolymers are used for copper-clad laminates (CCL), the key material in printed circuit boards. Fluoro substrates are flame retardant and have excellent dielectric properties. Common uses are high-frequency circuits for base stations and automotive millimeter wave radars.

Daikin Solutions
Daikin’s Fluoropolymer POLYFLON PTFE D-Series is an aqueous dispersion of Poly tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) used to impregnating or coat a substrate such as glass cloth. Fluoropolymers with low water absorption suppress rust and slow the performance deterioration of copper foils, even under high temperature and high humidity conditions.
