Packer seals
Oil drilling equipment uses a specific seal material for drilling piping called a packer seal. Packer seals need base resistance and durability against various organic compounds contained in crude oil at high temperatures and pressures. Daikin’s amine-resistant Fluoro elastomers fit this application.

Daikin’s DAI-EL Base Resistant Elastomers have excellent resistance to crude oil, fuel oil, acids and amines, along with excellent compression set at high and low temperatures. DAI-EL also has excellent elongation and bending fatigue properties, making it an ideal sealing material for packer seals.
